Legal assistance for cyclists

The CDF exists to protect cyclists and takes on test cases to advance cyclists’ legal rights. This includes defending cyclists from unwarranted prosecution.

In practice, that means we look for cases that we believe have the potential to set legal precedent. We want to support cases that we feel could permanently alter the legal situation for cycling – and thus have the power to encourage or discourage large numbers of people to cycle.

We are a small charity and we are only able to assist a small percentage of the cases that come to us. If you would like legal assistance from us, please complete and submit a Request for Assistance form.

If you have any questions, please use our contact form, or e-mail us at info@cyclistsdefence.org.uk.
